Easter Saturday in Llanidloes looks like eggtraspecially interesting! The Charter market is hosting all day events in Great Oak Street. L’armoire are holding a vintage tea party fundraising for Marie Curie Cancer Care. The Minerva Arts Centre has a brand new quilt exhibition “On The Edge”.
At Nant Yr Arian, there are Easter trails and junior ranger days. Easter egg trails are also taking place at Powis Castle and Gregynog.

INCIDENTALLY – and for all romantics out there…January 25th is St. Dwynwen’s day. She is the patron saint of lovers in Wales. After her own love denied by her father’s jealously and her lover’s anger and violence, Dywnwen sort refuge in a chapel on Anglesey. She died in 460AD after a lifetime of giving advice to couples. Any romantics staying at Dan Y Coed Cottage on this weekend will be gifted with a welsh love spoon. Maybe someone has a special question to ask? St Dwynwen’s Day at Dan Y coed – how romantic!!!

3rd November – Ceildleh at the Minerva Arts Centre, no charge, donations to charity. Get on your dancing shoes, ready for a good ole shin dig!
5th November – at lantern lit walk across the kennel field to the Rotary Bonfire, hog roast and fireworks – donations to the Rotary club
26th November- a day of flower arranging, cookery, 2 course lunch at Gregynog Hall £30 p/p
